What a week!!!

Seven days, eight shows and a special performance on the Saturday evening. This year's show celebrated not only the 20th anniversary of Danceblast but was also the first show with the dancers from the new Sandford school. The two schools came together in what was a seamless and exciting performance, which anyone would be proud of. As well as the usual excellent choreography, there were also solo performances by students from the younger classes, a ballet solo to Bright Eyes, as well as solo performances by the senior classes, to Emeli Sandé's Clown. There was the exciting and energetic dance to Michael Jackson's Thriller and the ballet with a twist to Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody. With all this energy and excitement it's no wonder that Alice needed a break with the Teddy Bears' Picnic! All of the dances were performed to live music played by "The Alice Band".

All of the dancers and actors had a wonderful and fun time, some of them experiencing the thrill of being in a live show for the first time. Our next show will be at Easter 2019, so if you would like to join Bristol's most exciting dance school and be involved in a truly exciting show, then please contact Anne Taylor; details can be found on the contacts page.

The shows are held at Churchill Academy and Sixth Form, Churchill BS25 5QN
